In partnership with the Circuit 13 Juvenile Justice Board of Hillsborough County, the Hillsborough County Domestic Violence Task Force holds this 1 day training to educate professionals who come in contact with clients who may be involved in a domestic violence relationship.
This year's conference will focus on special populations such as domestic violence perpetrated by juveniles, elder abuse and same sex domestic violence.
The day will also feature a panel discussion, which will provide detailed information to attendees on what victims may encounter when law enforcement becomes involved, when they need to complete an injunction, go into shelter, etc. A Lunch and Learn regarding Avoiding Burnout is also planned.
